Platform rendering for this emoji is currently in flux. Apple has enabled it starting with iOS 26.4+ and macOS 26.4+, applying its signature polished, 3D-like graphic style, while Google, Microsoft, and Samsung support remains marked as pending, so appearance on Android, Windows, or Samsung devices may vary or show fallback glyphs until updates are released.

On Twitter/X it's used in match commentary, Instagram captions pair it with training photos, TikTok videos showcasing wrestling moves often include it, and WhatsApp or Discord users use it playfully to describe physical rivalry or joking competition among friends.

Introduced in Unicode and Emoji version 17.0, it belongs to a broader group of wrestling emojis featuring multiple skin tones and a women's wrestling counterpart for gender representation.
