The Men Wrestling: Medium-light Skin Tone, Medium Skin Tone emoji shows two men engaged in a wrestling hold, each rendered with a different skin tone to reflect a more personalized and diverse depiction of the sport. This combination emoji visually represents athletic competition, grappling, and physical sport between two individuals distinguished by their medium-light and medium skin tones.
As a brand-new addition under Unicode 17.0, platform rollout is currently limited, with Apple confirmed to support it in iOS 26.4 and macOS 26.4. Google, Microsoft, and Samsung have yet to announce their versions, meaning the artwork style, color shading, and pose details could differ noticeably once each company ships its own rendering.
Expect this emoji to surface on Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, and Discord in posts related to wrestling tournaments, sports fandom, gym culture, and playful depictions of rivalry between friends. Its dual skin tone customization also makes it popular for users wanting to visually represent two specific people in a lighthearted, competitive context.
Technically, this emoji is composed of the codepoints U+1F468 U+1F3FC ZWJ U+1FAEF ZWJ U+1F468 U+1F3FD, joining a man with medium-light skin tone, the wrestling emoji, and a second man with medium skin tone via zero-width joiners. It sits within the broader wrestling emoji family that pairs all possible skin tone combinations, similar to other multi-person sport emojis.
This emoji works best for sports-related conversations, competitive banter, or accurately representing two people of different skin tones in a wrestling context, but it should be avoided in serious or aggressive discussions.
