The Men Wrestling: Light Skin Tone, Dark Skin Tone emoji portrays two men gripping each other in a wrestling stance, representing athletic combat, sport competition, or a lighthearted depiction of struggle. As a ZWJ sequence, it merges two "Man" emojis with individual skin tone modifiers, showing one figure with light skin tone and the other with dark skin tone, offering a visually diverse and inclusive representation of two people interacting.
Released as part of Unicode 17.0, this emoji is currently only confirmed on Apple devices, appearing in iOS 26.4 and macOS 26.4 with clearly rendered contrasting skin tones for each wrestler. Google, Microsoft, and Samsung have not announced official support yet, so the emoji may not display correctly or may fall back to a default version on non-Apple platforms for now.
Across Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, and Discord, expect this emoji to be used in posts about wrestling events, martial arts training, or combat sports fandom, as well as in messages highlighting diversity and inclusive emoji design. It may also appear in playful exchanges between friends referencing rivalry, competition, or physical challenges in a fun, non-literal way.
Technically, the emoji is formed from U+1F468 U+1F3FB U+200D U+1FAEF U+200D U+1F468 U+1F3FF, linking two man emojis with the wrestling gesture glyph through zero-width joiners. It is part of a large set of skin-tone-paired wrestling emojis and connects to related combat sport emojis and other multi-person ZWJ sequences depicting physical interaction between individuals.
