The Men With Bunny Ears: Dark Skin Tone, Medium-dark Skin Tone emoji depicts two male figures wearing bunny ears, standing side by side in a pose commonly associated with dancing or party performers. One figure carries a dark skin tone while the other displays a medium-dark skin tone, allowing for more personalized and inclusive representation in digital conversations. The bunny ears headpiece gives the image a playful, festive quality often linked to nightlife, costume events, and group celebrations.
As a newly introduced ZWJ sequence under Unicode 17.0, rendering can vary significantly across platforms. Apple has confirmed support starting with iOS 26.4 and macOS 26.4, showing detailed skin tone shading and expressive character design. Google, Microsoft, and Samsung have not yet finalized their designs, meaning appearance and even fallback display may differ until official rollouts arrive on those platforms.
Once fully supported, this emoji is expected to see strong use on Instagram and TikTok for party recaps, dance videos, and costume-themed posts. On Twitter/X, it may appear in celebratory or humorous threads referencing nightlife culture. WhatsApp users could use it to invite friends to events, while Discord communities might adopt it in gaming or social servers to represent group fun and inside jokes tied to bunny-ear party culture.
This emoji is built from the codepoints U+1F468 U+1F3FF U+200D U+1F430 U+200D U+1F468 U+1F3FE, combining two person emojis, skin tone modifiers, and the rabbit face emoji through zero-width joiners. It belongs to a broader family of bunny ears emojis, including women-only and mixed-gender variants, all introduced together in Emoji Version 17.0 to expand representation options for group-based celebratory emojis.
Use this emoji when celebrating parties, dance nights, or costume-themed events where representing specific skin tones adds personal meaning to the message. It's less suitable for formal or professional communication due to its playful, festive tone. Since platform support is still rolling out, display may be inconsistent for now.
